About Me

Elite Prospect

Class of 2030 | Outfield Field and First Baseman.

Hi, I’m Natalie Green, a Class of 2030 student-athlete who’s been around softball basically since day one. I’ve been playing the game for over 7 years, but honestly, I’ve been at the fields my whole life watching my older sister play and falling in love with the game long before I ever stepped into the batter’s box myself.

I bring a combination of speed and power to the field, and I love using both to make an impact in every game I play. Whether it’s turning a routine hit into an extra base or driving the ball with confidence, I enjoy playing fast, aggressive softball and putting pressure on the defense.

What I’m most proud of, though, isn’t just what I do on the field, it’s who I am off of it. I take my academics seriously and work hard in the classroom, because I believe being a student comes first. I also pride myself on being a coachable, positive teammate. I’m always looking to learn, improve, and help push everyone around me to be their best. I believe success comes from everyone getting better together, not just individually.

I’ll be starting high school in Fall 2026, and I’m excited for the next chapter where I’ll continue to grow as an athlete by competing in softball, while also challenging myself in weightlifting and track. I love competing, and I’m always looking for ways to get stronger, faster, and more explosive.

One of my favorite experiences so far was stepping up in Summer 2025 to help the Atlanta Vipers Gold 18U team as a guest player when they needed support. I wasn’t afraid of the moment, I just saw a chance to compete at a higher level and help a team, and I embraced it. Big moments don’t scare me; they motivate me.

At the end of the day, I just love the game, I love competing, and I love being part of a team that’s chasing something bigger than themselves.

Defensive Makeup

Primary outfielder with most of my time in center field, where I use my speed and instincts to cover ground and make plays. I can also lock down first base, adding to my versatility and overall field awareness. I take pride in my exceptional range, ability to track the ball, and making strong throws from the outfield, as well as stretching to finish plays at first.

Speed & Agility

Top-tier speed with a 2.9 home-to-first time. Smart, aggressive baserunner with strong instincts and a proven ability to steal bases at a 95%+ success rate.

Power Hitting

Explosive bat speed with a gap-to-gap approach. Consistent extra-base threat who can drive the ball to all fields, with the ability to mix in slapping and execute the short game when needed.

Teammate and Leadership

Always bringing energy and support for my teammates while doing whatever it takes to help the team succeed. I lead by example and believe in accountability holding myself to a high standard while expecting the same from those around me.

Coaches

A dedicated team of coaches, trainers, and mentors helping me reach the next level of my academic and athletic career.

"I had the privilege and pleasure of coaching Natalie for 5+ years. Her growth over that time span rivals any player I've watched or worked with and she truly has an uncapped trajectory. She consistently proved to be one of the most dependable and team-focused athletes on the roster. She brings a strong combination of toughness, pure speed, and versatility, along with a sixth sense for aggressive base running that's hard to replicate. She was always ready to step into any role the team needed. And whether in practice or games, you'd be hard pressed to find someone that outworks her. Because I had Nat as such a young player there was a lot to teach & learn. She soaked it all up and very rarely needed to be told the same thing twice. Nat has an uncanny reliability in big moments, never backing down and often coming through when it mattered most. Her attitude, effort, and willingness to do whatever it takes made her a key part of the team’s success -- oh and good luck keeping her uniform clean."

"Natalie is the hardest worker on the field. Her leadership in the outfield and clutch hitting made her our MVP this past spring."
